What is Numerology?

It is a metaphysical Science in the same vein as Astrology, Palmistry,Tarot Card reading, Feng Shui and Vasthu.

The word “ NUMEROLOGY ” was coined by an American lady,Dr. Julia Seton, in 1907. Modern Numerology begins from this point onward.But father of modern/western Numerology is Pythagoras. It is the Science of numbers, the mathematics of the Universe. ‘Numerology’ = ‘numerus’ (Latin) for numbers and ‘logos’ (Greek) for ‘word’, ‘thought’ and ‘expression’

Numerology is the study of a unique combination of one’s birth date and name. When studied carefully and deeply and if computations are done accurately, it can produce extremely powerful results. However, it is also important that the resulting numbers are synthesized and analysed carefully for forecasts to be arrived at objectively.. Numerology can tell us many aspects of one’s talent, destiny, character, personality, strengths and weaknesses, challenges in life, internal urges, how to succeed and overcome obstacles, even from previous lifetimes.

 

History of Numerology: Where did it originate?

 

Modern numerology, better known as Western numerology, began in Greece about 2,600 years ago. Pythagoras, the famous Greek philosopher and mathematician, gave us the Pythagorean system of numerology and he is now known as “father of modern Numerology”. Another system was developed even earlier in Ancient Babylon (now the regions of Iraq and Persia). That system was known as mystical numerology, and is now known as the Chaldean system.

How many systems/methodologies are there?

 

There are three formal versions of numerology in use today: the Chaldean, the Kabbalistic and the Pythagorean, with other branches like the Egyptian, the Vedic, the Chinese and the Mayan systems. There is a high degree of accuracy in numerology. Compared with other metaphysical sciences, numerology is often regarded as the highest.

I am a practitioner of the Pythagorean system. I believe the inherent mystical character of this system offers good accuracy as long as accurate computations are aided by tested computer programs of the kind I use for my readings. I also use the Chaldean system for my work to analyse names as well as basic palmistry for certain supporting information in my readings for clients. Numerology, in its truest essence, serves to enrich one’s life.

 

Why does numerology work?

It is also my belief that the vibration of numbers is a real force. Next are the resulting sounds from the vibrations. Both of these are concealed phenomena, like electricity running through a wire.

The Cosmos energizes everything on earth, and each number's connection to the Cosmos is invariable in its potential, another factor on which numerology works. Herein contains the secret of keeping an antenna to the sky!

Associated with the occult and the spiritual aspects of numerology, is the paramount force of a Supreme Power, call it the Creator or Paramount Truth or God Force. Finally, an element of psychic or mental energy also influences our ability to know more than what was previously thought possible. It is a power within us that can be cultivated and developed to intuit much more, finally revealing what has been hitherto hidden.
